Danilo was THE BEST! He was easy to communicate with and was very accommodating both before and during our trip. He borrowed a couple of gravel bikes from another company to make sure we all had the bikes we preferred (we were a group of 8), he installed special pedals, made sure to deliver our bikes on time, and was very patient and flexible in making individual adjustments at time of delivery. The bikes (6 gravel and 2 E bikes) were in excellent shape. There were a couple of small adjustments that needed to be made after we started on our trip and he made sure to refer us to a local bike repair shop (he communicated with them beforehand and took care of the bill); it was easy to find the shops and work with the owners. In addition to the bikes, he also moved our luggage from our first to second location and went out of his way in finding a place for delivering us to park the bikes, when it turned out that tour second accommodation didn't have a secure place to park them. He made everything so easy and pleasant for us; plus, he is a very kind and professional person. 100% recommended.

We were very happy with the service of Apulia Outdoor and Danilo. We rented two trekking bikes (Scott) of premium quality. Danilo dropped them at the trainstation of Lecce, from where we started our wonderful journey of one week in Salento. The communication with Danilo was perfect, just as was the service. When we had some little troubles with one of the bikes Danilo helped us immediately. We can recommend Apulia Outdoor.

Apulia Outdoor team gave us the best service and experience for our 30 Km ride on their lovely new e bikes.
Used the app that was excellent, Komodo's.
Met them at Melendugno not far from Lecce and headed to the coast through olive orchards and back roads. Very safe.
Bikes performed flawlessly.our bums not so. Needed a bit more riding to tackle the 60km ride. Loved it. Thanks.

It was a beautiful day, truly unforgettable!
The guy who provided us with the bikes was top notch: super kind, helpful, and precise.

The bikes were perfect, equipped with everything we needed: lock, helmet, pump, tire foam, and inner tubes. He also provided us with a digital map via an app, very clearly explained, with detailed route directions and plenty of tips on what to see along the way.

He pointed out several coves to stop for a swim, some truly spectacular. He also had the foresight to warn us that it was a very windy day, so we could better plan our itinerary.

An experience organized with great care and passion, which I highly recommend to anyone who wants to explore the area in an active, authentic, and fun way.
We will definitely be back!

Fantastic experience! We took a self-guided eBike day tour from Lecce to Otranto, and everything was organized flawlessly. The bikes were delivered directly to our hotel, with the itinerary already loaded, and assistance was available throughout the journey.
Unforgettable stops: Grotta della Poesia, swimming at the Sant'Andrea sea stacks, a fantastic lunch at Babilonia, and arriving in Otranto in the afternoon. We left our bikes there and a van took us comfortably back to Lecce.
A perfect way to discover Salento in complete freedom, but with all the support you need!

The day bike tour along the Melendugno coastline was one of the most beautiful experiences we've had in Salento. Starting from the Apulia Outdoor headquarters, we pedaled through breathtaking scenery to San Foca, then marveled at the Grotta della Poesia. The coffee break with a pasticciotto in Torre dell'Orso was a delightful touch! The route along the coast, between the Due Sorelle and the Sant'Andrea sea stacks, is spectacular. We chose the 50 km tour that took us to the Alimini Lakes: the effort was well worth it! Impeccable organization and a passionate guide. Highly recommended for those seeking an authentic outdoor experience in Puglia!

Beautiful ride! Cycling through the Melendugno marina was fantastic: wild coastline, towers overlooking the sea, the scent of Mediterranean scrub, and that refreshing breeze on your face. The route flows smoothly but never gets boring. Everything is more fun on gravel. Apulia Outdoor is top-notch as always!

Firstly the communication with the guys before we rented via WhatsApp was great answering all our questions and providing routes to download to our phones. The bikes were dropped off near us early. The e-bikes were in excellent condition and the batteries lasted the whole ride. We rode out to Otranto which was great riding through country lanes. So sad to see so many dead olive trees, but heartening to see new trees being grown. The ride back along the coast was a little too challenging for us, so we changed course and took some of the roads back, which wasn't a problem as they were very quiet. Some of the route through the forest was great. Overall we cycled 60km and we enjoyed our day & the bikes were perfect. 🙏

Professional and competent, top-quality bikes and equipment, super advice and excellent service.
Despite a last-minute rental, Danilo was extremely helpful and prompt in delivering the bikes to Lecce, providing expert directions on the beautiful Lecce-Otranto route we had planned and allowing us to return the bikes directly in Otranto. Traveling through Salento by ebike from Lecce to Otranto is a journey that fills your heart and eyes with beauty. From the baroque alleys of Lecce to the natural expanses of the Cesine Reserve, passing through the charming village of Acaya, each stop offers unique experiences.
